Mid-Atlantic Police and Fire Survivors Weekend (MAPFSW) will take place from September 27 through 29, 2013. The Mid-Atlantic Law Enforcement Survivor Weekend has joined forces with The Cape May County Police & Fire Emerald Society to announce the creation of a weekend that will recognize both Police & Fire Survivors.
It will be an amazing weekend where old friends get to see each other and new survivors become part of our close-knit family. Join us for this great weekend.

HAVE A WREATH? If your survivor organization is interested in being in the "Wreath Procession" please bring your wreath with you. When you check in on Sept. 27, please let us know who will be carrying and laying the wreath as a representative of your organization during the Candlelite Vigil on Sept. 28.
MAPFSW is unique in that it recognizes the truly forgotten heroes: the survivors of fallen law enforcement officers and firefighters. Survivors include family members and co-workers. The weekend focuses on survivors from the following states: New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. However, in past years we have honored the requests of families that reside in our region and hosted families from Georgia and Colorado, in addition to those from the Mid-Atlantic region. We are also different in that we recognize survivors from not just the current year, but those that were killed in the line of duty from the past. The event is hosted annually by the North Wildwood Police Department and is held in the seashore resort of North Wildwood, New Jersey.
